About us

PowerSoccerPDX formed during the summer of 2016 by Ryan K a 5 year veteran in the United States Power Soccer Associations Premier, and Champions conferences. He moved to Portland Oregon that earlier winter, and saw there was no powersoccer available in Oregon so he started it with the help of Adaptive Sports Northwest. Power Soccer is designed and developed especially for power wheelchair users. It’s a team sport that helps build character through teamwork, communication, hard work, perseverance, good sportsmanship.
It’s the only team sport available to power wheelchair users including persons with quadriplegia, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy, head trauma, stroke, spinal cord injury and other disabilities.

Your support to ASNW Power Soccer program will help provide our youth and adult athletes with accessible playing surfaces and access to power soccer equipment and other necessary items to compete and play as a team. #TeamASNW

Our Goals

1. Improve the current team for competition

2. Grow the number of players in the Portland area

3. Develop a strong and cohesive Northwest Power Soccer Conference in order to facilitate the growth of power soccer in the region. In doing so, foster the experience of competitive sport, teamwork, & sportsmanship for those who have rarely experienced it.

How you can help us achieve these goals

Volunteer!

We have been fortunate to receive volunteer assistance from community organizations including students from surrounding schools. However we need your help in helping players set up their chairs with proper equipment before games or becoming certified as a Power Soccer referee and ref our games. Contact ryan@powersoccerpdx.com for volunteering opportunities.
