2023 Season & Beyond – It Takes A Village

Our trip to Berkeley in the 2022 season really amplified the teams desire to become a competitive traveling team In the United States Power Soccer Association. (The sanctioning body for Power Soccer within the United States)

As a first year competitive team, there are a few league requirements that we must meet In order to be considered eligible to compete at the 2024 national tournament in Fort Wayne Indiana. While some of these requirements are easily met, most of them have a monetary aspect to them as well such as registering as a competitive team as opposed to a recreational team. One of the biggest requirements is competing in six sanctioned games with other registered teams.

What does this mean? Since there are no other teams in our area, this means the team must travel to compete with the nearest teams which are located in the Bay Area of California. In order to do so the team must raise adequate funding to be able to cover all of the cost of these trips. Our athletes have been working hard already and we are just a little shy of the 50% mark of our $15,000 goal for the year!

How can you help? We currently have a fundraising campaign underway through our parent organization of Adaptive Sports Northwest. We would greatly appreciate a fully tax deductible donation of any size! We also realize that not everybody is in a position to make a monetary donation; the team is always in need of Volunteers to help with practice, trips, fundraising and much more! If you’re interested in volunteering please reach out and let us know, we would be more than happy to have you!
